Exporting Data

There are two ways of exporting data from safer.plus.

  • Exporting through the sidebar menu as a CSV, JSON or other formats.
  • Exporting PDF documents through the sidebar Flows.

Different Export Formats

CSV export is configurable but exports raw, unformatted data. This is useful for importing into other systems or analyzing the data in other ways.

PDF exports are non configurable but contain proper formatting, the Organization logo and other related information.

PDF Exports vary between modules

Each module has a predefined structure for PDF exports. If you need a custom format, please contact support.

Supported PDF Export Modules

Supported CSV Export Modules

All modules support CSV exports. CSV exports are more complicated. If you need assistance, please contact support.

Actions

  1. Navigate to the Actions module.
  2. Select the Actions (multiple) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.

PDF Export Limitations

Data exports contains on the records the current user has access to.

Exported PDFs are stored only for 15 minutes after generation. Downloading a PDF requires the user to be logged in.

Processes

  1. Navigate to the Processes module.
  2. Select the Process (single) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.

Process PDF Export Limitations

Process PDF exports can only be generated for a single process at a time.

Risk Assessments

  1. Navigate to the Risk Assessments module.
  2. Select the Risk Assessments (multiple) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.

Tip

When choosing to export Risk Assessments, the PDF will contain the Risk Assessment and all associated processes.

For example, if a Risk Assessment is associated with multiple processes, the PDF will contain the Risk Assessment and all associated processes.

Risk Assessment export is best suited for exporting all of the Risk Assessments for the entire organization.

If you wish to export the Risk Assessments of a single process, it is best to export the process instead.

Drills

  1. Navigate to the Drills module.
  2. Select the Drill (single) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.

Minutes

  1. Navigate to the Minutes module.
  2. Select the Minutes (single) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.

Audits

  1. Navigate to the Audits module.
  2. Select the Audit (single) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.

Measurements

  1. Navigate to the Measurements module.
  2. Select the Measurement (single) you wish to export.
  3. Expand the sidebar menu and under Flows click on Email as PDF.
  4. Your PDF will be generated and a download link will be sent to your user email address.
