Actions Management
Actions in safer.plus represent tasks and improvements that strengthen the management system. They can originate from various sources including risk assessments, audits, and customer feedback.
Focus on Actions, not their origin
Actions are the core of the management system. They can originate from any source, including Audits, Risk Assessments, Drills, Measurements and many more.
In safer.plus, once an action is created, the user can focus on the action and its progress, rather than the source of the action.
Creating a new Action
Status States
draft: Initial creation statepending: Awaiting implementationevaluation: Under reviewcompleted: Action finished
Severity Levels
critical: Immediate attention requiredhigh: Significant prioritymedium: Standard prioritylow: Minor improvement neededimprovement: Enhancement suggestiongood practice: Positive observation
Reusable Actions
Actions can be reused across different system items.
Basic Information
- Description: Details of the non-conformance
- Control measure: Changes to be implemented
- Assigned to: Business unit responsible (if blank then the action is considered to be assigned to the owning Business Unit).
- Date Expected
- What is the target date set for this action
- Date Completed
- What is the action date the action is completed
Completing an Action
Because Actions exist separately from their source, it can be tempting to complete an action without referring the source document.
This can be true for most sources of the Action, excel a Risk Assessment, which will require a revision of the probability and severity of the risk.
References to an Action
Actions list all the items that refere to the specific action.
Simply expand the Related Data section to see which items refer to the current Action.
