Entities

Entities in safer.plus represent external organizations or individuals that interact with your company. This includes contractors, suppliers, service providers, and other business partners.

Managing Entities

Adding a New Entity

1. Navigate to the Entities module
2. Click the "+" button to create a new entity
3. Select the entity type
4. Fill in the information:
   • Company name
   • Contact information
   • Certificates

Entity Documentation - Certificates

Certificates are a way to track the documentation for an entity. This can include: - Insurance certificates - Safety certifications - Health and Safety Management Systems - Governmental licenses - Service agreements

Certificates

Certificates function in a similar way as Trainings and Inspections. Multiple Certificates can be created under an Entity with or without expiration and safer.plus will automatically track the validity of the certificate.

Entity Status

Entities can have different status indicators:

• Active: Currently engaged with your organization
• Inactive: Temporarily not engaged
