Audits

The Audits module in safer.plus helps you manage internal and external audits of your management systems. The module can be used to record and track audits, including the findings and related Actions.

Typically, within ISO Systems management, you may need to conduct:

  • Internal Audits
  • External Audits
  • Certification Audits
  • Surveillance Audits

Managing Audits

Audit Status

Set the status of the audit based on its completion:

  • Draft: Audit report is being drafted but not finalized yet
  • Approved: Audit report is finalized and approved by an authorised person

Creating Audits

Basic Information

Each audit record includes:

  • Type
    • Internal Audit
    • External Audit
    • Certification Audit
    • Surveillance Audit
    • Other
  • Site (for multi-site organisations)
  • Date Perfomed
  • Date Expires
  • Description
    • Description of what was audited
    • Standards or requirements covered
    • Departments or processes included
    • List of observations
    • Non-conformities identified
    • Opportunities for improvement
  • Actions
    • Corrective actions for non-conformities
    • Improvement actions for observations

Dashboard Integration

Audits are monitored through the Dashboard:

  • Upcoming audits
  • Recent audits
  • Open non-conformities
  • Action items status

  • Define clear audit scope
  • Document all findings
  • Link findings to processes
  • Create specific corrective actions
  • Track action completion
